Signal Scholarships
Introduction: To help facilitate college path in technology, marketing, and/or entrepreneurship, Signal is pleased to offer two undergraduate students in these fields a Signal Scholarships prize.
Value: The selected winner will receive a one-time $1,500 educational scholarship (runner-up will receive a $500 award) to be applied to qualified expenses, including undergraduate tuition, fees, books and on-campus room and board for the next academic year.
Eligibility:
- The recipient must be actively enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior for the next semester and for the entire academic year without interruption, barring illness, emergency or military service. It is the recipient’s responsibility to verify receipt of funds with their designated institution and notify Signal.
- Applicant must have a cumulative college grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale and be enrolled full-time at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States for Fall.
- Applicant must use the scholarship toward undergraduate program (i.e. Graduate programs not eligible).
- Applicants must be studying or planning to study the fields of technology, marketing, and/or entrepreneurship.
- If the applicant or the applicant’s parent/legal guardian is employed by Signal at the time of award, the student is not eligible for the scholarship. Eligibility of finalists will be verified before winners are selected.
- To apply for the scholarship, applicant must be a student currently enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year college or university, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, in the United States.
